How about we… share a mutual love of Mexican food and picnics via Pica Taco and Meridian Hill Park.
How about we… eat dangerously delicious pies and have a dangerously fun time exploring rockin' H Street.
How about we… eat Native American fry bread (soaked in honey and cinnamon) at the super yum Mitsitam Cafe at the National Museum of the American Indian...and actually stay to check out the museum!
How about we… try homemade Pop-tarts and boozy grown-up milkshakes @ Ted's...breakfast of champions!
Kenya... and now ready for an urban safari adventure back in DC :)
Yoga; Brunching; Vintage shopping; Grocery shopping (mainstream and ethnic); Checking out museums and theater; and Not working!
“Looks like someone's filed 15 TPS reports in 30 days. Ummm... Yeeaahh... we're gonna need to go ahead and move you downstairs into Storage B."
I adore tacos, Shakespeare, zumba, yoga, and South Indian food…none of which come from where I’m from (the Heartland), except my Mama’s delicious dosas. Since I'm an only child, I picked my siblings (i.e. my friends) as I grew up, and hold them close to my heart... I love traveling and recently came back from Istanbul, Turkey, which is one of the most stunningly beautiful (and delicious) places I've visited. I also spent time working in Incredible India trekking through villages to evaluate development programs on microfinance, health, and education. In addition to rambling on about economic development, I love art-y movies and museums at night.

Before you dive into that cilantro-sprinkled bite, remember that ingredients for a typical taco collectively travel 2.6 times the circumference of the earth to reach your local taco truck…(findings from “Biography of a Taco”)
...you're kind, witty, love to laugh, a bit sarcastic, and can cook! And if you can't cook, you would be willing to share take-out. Also, not to be suuuuper picky, but it would be great if you could write complete sentences (i.e., no shorthand) in a message. Hopefully, you will muster up more than "hey, how r u." Ideally, English is your native language.
My well-traveled umbrella that's been to every country I've been to...oh, the stories it (err...I) could tell
In cooking school… preferably in Bali
Willing to have each other’s back
A great pair of shoes
Fund proven, cost-effective international development charities to provide primary education in India, loans to entrepreneurs in Lima, malaria bed nets in Kenya…and open a food truck
I’m happy when it rains... then again, I’m happy most of the time
Kindness, laughter,…and an awesome home-cooked meal
