Any Querks/Oddities or unique personality traits I should know about?
I have extremely high moral standards and a rather old-fashioned point of view. I'm Squemish. I'm strongly Pro-Choice. I'm an Athiest. I have a heightened sense of Justice and paint a particularly thick line between right and wrong. I support the Death penalty. I hate horror films. I like cute creatures. I am easily disturbed by overly sexual behavior and greatly criticize promiscuity.
An awesome place I've visited:
Er.... *makes popping sounds* Umm.... *beatboxes* Uhh... OH! Okay, i got it! The 2010 Boston Anime Convention. Now that was a sight to behold. It was my first anime convention and I can only describe it to you as a child seeing an animal for the first time or a blind man seeing life for the first time. It was absolutely spectacular. The level of detail people put into their costumes is just mind boggling and there's so many of them to. I'd love to go to another one or any type of convention. I go to the Auto Show at the Jacob Javitz center each year.
The movie I've watched the most times:
Wanted. Its too good to change the channel. Probably have seen it about 4 times by now.
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
Had an anxiety disorder. Now I don't. Discovered talent for songwriting, got good. Couldn't find a band, discovered interest in graphics. Became a photo-retoucher, love technology. Found a great internship, now I need a great girly!
My first concert / My dream concert:
First official concert I went to was She Wants Revenge at Irving Plaza shortly after they released their self-titled debut. My dream concert is the one that I will perform some day. I hope to play in some of the same places as the bands I've seen and have many pretty fans!
Obscure knowledge I possess:
I'm pretty sure that Lobsters stick to magnets. My Greatest Revelations: Christ is not Jesus's last name. It means Messiah in Latin. The Flintstones has a silent "T" in it. There's no "t" in the word equipped. It's a guitar riff, not a guitar rift, It's Cole Slaw, not Coslaw.
For me, a first date no-no is:
"Hmm, you're not exactly how I imagined, I'm gonna go home now!" "Wait, you mean your not 7 feet tall? Goodbye!" "I Didn't mention this online, but I'm a psychotic serial killer" "I used to be a stripper, I hope you don't mind." "I neglected to mention my tendency to randomly strangle the people I like."
What I would bring to show and tell:
My Cat, Sweepy. In my experience, whenever people say they have the cutest cat in the world, they are extremely biased and the cat isn't actually ever cute. Well, I'm not biased because I have two cats. Sweepy and Kenji, and Kenji.. isn't really all that cute. So now that we've established my objectivity I can pretty much tell you that Sweepy is the cutest cat you'll ever see. Most cats have squinty eyes, its in their nature -- but sweepy has extremely large circular eyes that look unreal. He's pretty adorable. You oughta see. Oh, I'd also show you my home recording studio, and a good time :3
A story you should remind me to tell you on our first date:
There's a pretty interesting story behind how I became a songwriter and how I write my songs. It's certainly not commonplace. I also have this hysterical story about one time at a computer camp many summers ago. That one always cracks me up. I can hardly tell it with a straight face.
I secretly want to be:
A Rockstar. Fuck Yeah.
I want to be with someone who wants to be:
loved, respected, thoroughly appreciated and cuddled :3 Oh.. If you meant occupation, I'd love to be with someone who wanted to go into some form of art, photography or fashion industry.
An infatuation of mine:
I'm really into TV dramas. I watch a hell of a lot of TV Dramas. Its not just something to do for me, i truly enjoy a good TV show. I can get really into one. If it's a big show like 24 or Burn Notice, chances are I watch it, and/or know all about it. I don't watch everything, but I watch more than your average bear. It's not a problem, I find the time to watch a lot of tv and still do other things as well. Even if it means going to bed at 3-4 every night :D.
