How about we… meet at this restaurant/lounge called 2113's soft opening tonight between 6p-2a. Appropriately named because its on 2113 Main St in Richmond. The cover charge is simply liking their page on Facebook...
How about we… grab a couple sharpies, place random dots on each others forearms, then draw constellations while we tell stories about how the constellation came to be.
How about we… lurk at a coffee shop and make up stories about the couples who we think are there on a first date.
An awesome place I've visited:
Twin Falls, Idaho: home to a massive canyon Evil Knievel jumped
My perfect Sunday:
A game of Apples to Apples over wine with close friends
The movie I've watched the most times:
Before Sunset - At the worst of times sequels are a cash grab. Often times they are the center of a trilogy. However, there are the rare times when a sequel is done so fantastically well that it's predecessor simply becomes backstory. Before Sunrise is the rare film that tells you something about yourself (and the people you watch it with) when its over.
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
Grew up an army brat on islands in the pacific. My willingness to try anything once has lead to only joyful memories & life lessons. And I only have two sentences because there's still a life left to live filling in the blanks...
My first concert / My dream concert:
Obscure knowledge I possess:
None that I can share now. I intend to make that the unique, quark that makes you desire date number two... ;-)
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
Can quote Star Wars, make wine pairing suggestions, listens to "dance/house" music or does anything everyone else considers quarks, nerdy, geeky or dorky. You've got to let that freak flag fly!
For me, a first date no-no is:
Having unreasonable expectations and an unwillingness to try something new
What I would bring to show and tell:
I'd show the scar on my elbow and tell...
A story you should remind me to tell you on our first date:
My experiencing playing Ben from Night of the Living Dead on stage
I secretly want to be:
Now it wouldn't be a secret if I told you here! Would it? Maybe we can talk about it on our first date...
I want to be with someone who wants to be:
to be remembered for living a life of accumulated laughter, smiles & fond memories over trinkets, titles & money you can't take with you when you're gone
An infatuation of mine:
A woman who truly understands her own sex appeal. Corrine Bailey Ray, Lily Allen or Tina Fey won't win a Spring Break Bikini Contest and America Ferrera, Martine McCutcheon or Julie Delpy aren't going home with the Miss Universe crown anytime soon. However, knowing how to make your style, body language & demeanor make me forget the world around you will have me listening to whatever you have to say...
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
would take care of my family and help the people who took the proverbial "shirt off their back" for me. And if I was fortunate enough to have any left then I'd affiliate myself with an after school organization that promotes developing healthy long term habits via the arts & athletics.
One thing my mother would want you to know about me:
That I have a good heart and my intentions have always been for the greater good. And that I should be a lawyer because I'm always talking my way around things to my benefit.
I want to come home to:
Music, laughter & someone who sees making one another's day a worthy ambition
