I grew up in Pevely, Missouri, and moved to Villa Ridge, MO when I was married to my soon to be x-husband of almost 22 years. I am a mother of 3 of my own, 1 step-daughter and 1 foster adult children; and grandmother of 10 with 1 on the way! My family has always been my life, and now it is time for me to have a life of my own now that they are all grown up. I never really had a time that I was without children as I had my first child at 16, and married at 18. But I believe that the beauty of life is that God gives us the opportunity for 2nd and 3rd chances until we get it right.

My first concert / My dream concert:

My first concert was an the Salute concert of AC/DC's. I still like rock and roll, at least old rock and roll, but now days I really enjoy country as well. Still, I think Sammy Haggar with Van Hallen would be the ultimate concert I'd like to see if they were still together!

I have a weakness for guys/girls who:

have character. There is nothing sexier than a man that displays a good set of values, morals and is chivalrousness. In today's society it seems a woman is hard pressed to find a man who will even open a door for her much less pay the tab. If more men learned this secret about women, they would find women are not as complicated as they seem.
