How about we… Meet at the farmerst market on a Saturday, grab brunch of some sort and then picnick in Amherst common. See my profile for contact information.
An awesome place I've visited:
Ashland Oregon, it was pretty beautiful.
My perfect Sunday:
A late afternoon brunch, followed by reading a book and a good bicycle ride.
The movie I've watched the most times:
The Brothers Bloom
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
I was a creative kansan kid who climbed trees, and planned to run away and live in a box car or boat house like the box car children. Later on in life I channeled my creativity into crafting and making all sorts of pretty things. This continued through high school & college where I found my one real addiction, coffee. I then supported myself by being a barista. I have just finish my masters at KU, got a real job with benefits, and moved to Amherst, MA.
My first concert / My dream concert:
My first concert, Ad Astra Per Aspera who played in the lobby/garage of an automotive shop in Wichita, KS. My dream concert, one that gives me goose bumps, dance spiritually, and tear up a bit.
Obscure knowledge I possess:
I know quite a bit about how to make and fix things; boxes, dresses, baked goods, communities, bicycles (slightly I would like to learn more). I like to tinker with hobbies.
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
have a craft/hobby of some sort, periodically wear plaid and smell of wood smoke.
For me, a first date no-no is:
Talking through awkward silences.
What I would bring to show and tell:
My Kansas mug. It is fairly representative of my kitschy collections.
A story you should remind me to tell you on our first date:
When my coworker Venu told me what color my aura was.
I secretly want to be:
the coordinator of a cooperative living neighborhood.
I want to be with someone who wants to be:
Honest about what they want out of life and would like a partner to get there.
An infatuation of mine:
Coffee, I adore everything about it.
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
Purchase a house boat and move to Seattle.
One thing my mother would want you to know about me:
She would want you to know that I am thrifty, to thrifty in fact to spend money to message folks on here. She might also want you to know my email address so we can get in touch, super_keen at good old hotmail dot com.
I want to come home to:
a potluck dinner with friends.
