How about we… Toast a few marshmallows at Camp.
How about we… check out the Conrad hotel rooftop- and beat this crazy heat with a couple of boozy popsicles.
How about we… Break our resolutions together?
An awesome place I've visited
Stockholm, Paris, Bali- my three favorite vacation spots so far. But I've got tons more to see!
My perfect sunday
Sleeping in, boozy brunch, then reading a book in the park (or maybe a coffeeshop if it's too cold..)
The movie I've watched the most times
It's a three-way tie between Clue, The Princess Bride and Heathers. I can pretty much recite all three of them along with the film...but I'll do it silently til I know you better. ;)
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer
Born and raised in central CT - where I dreamed of NYC (and Boston), but learned to love and appreciate the quietness of my small town. Educated in North Philly, where I learned to navigate a city, use pepper spray, and avoid pigeons. Currently loving living in Brooklyn, where I'm 20 minutes from the city and my job, but live in a neighborhood with neighbors where I know by sight and a nice little bit of shared outdoor space. Those are just the basics. Oh, and I'm a hugger. I will hug you when we meet.
Obscure knowledge I possess
I can roll and cut noodles. (Mostly for soup, but I could probably manage pasta, too).
I have a weakness for Guys/Girls who
-Are at least a bit nerdy at heart. -Don't take themselves too seriously. -Don't think boys should wear skinny jeans. Unless they're some sort of rock star. But maybe not even then.
For me, a first date no-no is
Not showing up. Pretty much anything else is forgivable with the right person.
I want to be with someone who wants to be
Themself. With me.
An infatuation of mine
Avocado. I eat it almost every day and never get sick of it. Baffling.
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would
travel to my heart's content...but then probably also work sometimes. At the end of the day, I actually *like* my job most of the time.
One thing my mother would want you to know about me
My mother will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about me - complete with pictures, and possibly some sort of song and dance. To balance it out, though, my father will just sort of nod in your general direction and mumble some sort of semblance of a greeting.
