My brother is a doctor, so I've ended up learning basic medical terminology from him. I don't claim to be a trained physician in any way, but I've heard enough firsthand stories about abscesses and gangrenous limbs that I know that I NEVER want to be around either. On a less repulsive note, I also know alot about LOST.
The time I spent 17 hours crammed into a train cabin with 12 other people, 1 of whom claimed to have defeated the communists while he was the King of Europe
Last summer I took a train from Minneapolis to Glacier National Park. It was the definition of awesome.
When I was three, I'd climb onto the space ship (willow tree) in my front yard, blast off and land on the moon (the dog house). I dreamt often, read voraciously, studied when I had to, traveled when I could and eventually orchestrated a proper escape from the bubble of Skaneateles, NY to Washington, DC where I attended the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. I fell in love with New York City after stopping over to see Radiohead at Liberty State Park in 2001 on my way back from Paris; following three years of increaingly frequent visits, I put whatever i couldn't carry in storage and hopped on a train with only vaguest notion of what I'd do when I arrived. I didn't know then that I'd become the overworked, underpaid associate producer for a documentary film (that premiered at Sundance in 2007) or learn to surf or "win" an affordable rent-stabalized apartment though a city lottery or still be in NYC nearly 6 years later, even after the infatuation faded. Although I'm still working big picture, I've collected an assortment interesting pieces and feel close to fitting them together in a coherent way; in the meantime, I have enough work to keep me more than busy (and pay the bills) yet enough flexiblity to make time to do the things I want to do - not a bad position to be in.
The 18 hour train ride in Vietnam that should have only been 7 hours.

Life History 5 sentences or less....hmmm ok I guess leaves four, hahaha. I was born in Brooklyn, moved to Queens then Long Island and currently reside in Manhattan. I am an athletic attorney who trains/fights MMA (cage fighting). I wrestled in Division 1 in college, was President of my fraternity and managed to graduate early. Last sentence, ok I'll end it simple I have the most amazing French Bulldog puppy named Tucker.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. Yes, I am a Steelers Fan. My parents are hilarious and I had a happy suburban childhood. Trained to be an opera singer in college and grad school, after which I realized I didn't want to be a singer/starving artist. Moved to NYC on a whim, somehow landed a job that affords me to live in a great neighborhood and pay my bills!
