How about we… drink only locally-made beers together at The Thinking Man Tavern.
How about we… check out the new rooftop beergarden Tavern 29 (ummm, when it stops raining).

How about we… take a walk at Saltwater Park and if we hit it off, head over to The Cabin tavern or Richmond Beach Coffee Co.

Discovering new (to me) taverns, restaurants, bookstores.... basically stumbling into parts of the city to which I haven't been.
I am a slave to my senses -- I am drawn to the touch, taste, smell, sound and look of things. Gorgeous shoes with heels way too high to be practical, an indie folk concert at City Tavern, a pickling class in Williamsburg -- these things all fill me with joy. A city girl through and through, I also cherish times when I can leave the beautiful hum of the city and end up climbing a mountain or in a field picking raspberries.
Dream concerts: Broken Social Scene in Horseshoe Tavern beFORE they were famous; Neko Case at Trinity United Church. My first concert was Wham!
MY FIRST CONCERT WAS SEPTEMBER LIVE AT ROSCOE TAVERN. AND MY DREAM CONCERT HAPPEN TO BE MADONNA NEXT TOUR.
Hitting up a café and sitting outside with my dog. Then going to the dog park to wear my dog out. After that, going to Laurel Tavern for a drink.
Amsterdam; Oaxaca, Mexico; Chile & Argentina; Taos, New Mexico; Camping at the edge of the Rio Grande Gorge; The Badlands; Strathmere, NJ; Austin, TX; Tatooed Mom's; The Tohickon Tavern; The Republican...
First: Psychedlic Furs. Dream: It was hard to top this month's U2 concert at the Linc. I saw it with an old high school friend who I grew up listening to U2 with and who I ran hundreds of country miles with during high school track and cross country days. Couldn't have had a better friend to see the show with, and when Bono had all 70,000 of us sing a live Happy Birthday for Nelson Mandela, I couldn't have been happier. A truly inspired moment. Although, if you could teleport me back to a small club in, say, '68, seeing the Stones then would have been incredible. Seeing Ween playing live in 2001 with 200 people at the Tohickon Tavern at a concert that I set up has to be towards the top of the list as well...
Brunch at tavern on the green, a jog through central park, followed by dinner and a movie with someone of my choosing
I don't remember what my first concert was. My dream concert would be to make it to New Orleans Jazz Fest or Bonarroo with too many artists to list. I saw Phish in the mountains in Telluride, Colorado. That's a pretty tough venue to beat. My favorite local spot is the Belly Up Tavern. I try to see as many shows as I can!
Tavern in the Square (Brighton).... Ha I'm there all the time.
