How about we… go check out an Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra's "Symphony on the Prairie" concert with a picnic lunch and wine?
How about we… get dressed up then go to the symphony together.
How about we… go to an outdoor performance of the Austin Symphony.

How about we… I would love to go to Dowtown Dallas and have dinner and see a show be it the opera, symphony, or a band or go to one of the museums.

National Symphony Orchestra at Kennedy Center playing Dvorak's New World Symphony (I literally just remembered this for the first time in 22 or so years, amazing!!) too many dream concerts: Dylan in the mid-60s or early mid-70s, velvet underground in the 60s, rolling stones back in the 60s--might as well do some time-traveling as well, right?
First Concert: Badfinger - 1972 Commack Arena. LI NY. Dream concert would be Procol Harum with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra.
My 1st concert I believe was Debbie Gibson, or Deborah as she is now known. My dream concert would probably be all of my favorite 80s hair bands joined together playing only their biggest hits, accompanied by some sort of symphony. Hahahaha. Bands liks Warrant, Ugly Kid Joe, Motley Crue, Poison, Skid Row, Alice in Chains, etc.... It was like the time in my music life between New Kids on the Block and Britney Spears, ha.
Emerson, Lake and Palmer, 1979. No wait...the New Haven Symphony when I was about 3. Dream concert was the Vote For Change tour in 2004. Bruce, REM and John Fogarty; they played What's So Funny 'bout Peace, Love and Understanding to end the show!
Neither first nor dream, but most memorable: Sting at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver Naeme Jarvi conducting Brahms 1st Symphony at the Hollywood Bowl -- many years ago but still one of my greatest moments in concertgoing.
Hong Kong Children Symphony Orchestra
first concert: Detroit Symphony; dream concert: estelle, janis joplin, neil young and biggie
My first concert was probably a symphony concert with my childhood friend and her father to see her mother play. My dream concert consists of Bobby McFerrin and/or Edgar Meyer - I've seen them both live and each time I come out with a feeling of a life-changing experience.
Ben Folds playing with the Houston Symphony Orchestra...saw it already, but my dream is to see it again.
First Concert: The Shins// My dream concert: a symphony in Paris
