I am beyond resourceful. Monday nights free movies at the Jane Hotel, Tuesdays all sorts of famous writers read their plays at Naked Angels, Wednesday either free Botanical Garden or Bronx Zoo, Thursday great Swing Dancing "Frim Fram", Friday good Happy Hour at Spin Ping Pong Lounge...
Fourth-generation San Franciscan moved to DC to launch a journalism career after college, then ping-ponged between coasts following better stories: to Silicon Valley, Boston, New York. Inspired by many of the amazing people I interviewed, I moved back to SF (hopefully for good!) and switched careers. Now I work for the same employer as one of my best friends, who introduces me to coworkers and social circles as "the happiest person you'll ever meet." One of the things that makes me most happy is swing dancing. The other is rock climbing. Doing something new, out of the ordinary, or just a bit quirky is sure to make smile non-stop, too.
I went to Catholic high school but am not Catholic. I live in the sticks now and love to visit Boston and other cities. I went to Northeastern. I work for a visiting nurse association as a physical therapist. I like to learn new things and have taken (not necessarily mastered) lessons in cake decorating, bagpipes, swing dancing, belly dancing, sailing, and snowboarding. I try to keep things interesting when I'mnot taking care of my daughter.
Chinese, Ayurvedic and homeopathic medicine. Hypnotherapy, NLP. Over 100 meditation methods. 10 kinds of swing dances, Argentine Tango, all the Latin dances, all the smooth dances except the quickstep and the Texas two-step.
I live for singing, playing guitar, fiddle, and piano, traveling, scuba diving, dogs, photography, nature, politics, indie flicks, baking, hiking, biking, reading, swing dancing, among other things...(ok, that was one really long sentence) ;o)
Been road tripping solo around North America for the past 20 months, putting nearly 50,000 miles on my stellar car. Volunteer every year at Sundance Film Festival. Snow and heat camp. Canoe. Swing dance. Read. Write. Take lots of pictures. Trying to hit all the National Parks and California Historic Landmarks. Come from a nice family. Career from current to past: Layout designer, Director of Informal Education, Principal, Teacher, traveler, student, zygote. Lived overseas, around California and on the east coast and am currently looking for a lovely place to settle in to.
I lived in four countries. I speak French badly. I swing dance. I <3 my family. I live in Seoul (sort of).

I know how to swing dance, can tell you the equation for calculating time dilation off the top of my head, probably know more about 1940's music than your grandparents, and know just enough about pretty much anything to have a conversation about it.
I know how to swing dance...
