How about we… wax down our surfboards and go out for a surf!

How about we… drive down to the coast and stroll along in the surf until the sun goes down.
How about we… kite surf on the East Coast. (I don't know how to kite surf, it looks cool)
How about we… ..pack a picnic, surf at Zuma, lay out in the sun, and catch the sunset together...
How about we… Surf the Chive.

California born and raised. Product of the public school system. Transplanted to the East Coast and went to Penn. I miss Mexican food and surfing.
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, the original with Gene Wilder. It's a once a year event (at least). Other than that, I will stop channel surfing and watch Shawshank Redemption and Office Space at any point of the movie.

When I was three, I'd climb onto the space ship (willow tree) in my front yard, blast off and land on the moon (the dog house). I dreamt often, read voraciously, studied when I had to, traveled when I could and eventually orchestrated a proper escape from the bubble of Skaneateles, NY to Washington, DC where I attended the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. I fell in love with New York City after stopping over to see Radiohead at Liberty State Park in 2001 on my way back from Paris; following three years of increaingly frequent visits, I put whatever i couldn't carry in storage and hopped on a train with only vaguest notion of what I'd do when I arrived. I didn't know then that I'd become the overworked, underpaid associate producer for a documentary film (that premiered at Sundance in 2007) or learn to surf or "win" an affordable rent-stabalized apartment though a city lottery or still be in NYC nearly 6 years later, even after the infatuation faded. Although I'm still working big picture, I've collected an assortment interesting pieces and feel close to fitting them together in a coherent way; in the meantime, I have enough work to keep me more than busy (and pay the bills) yet enough flexiblity to make time to do the things I want to do - not a bad position to be in.

I loved Rio, but surf camp in Costa Rica was the best
The east coast of Taiwan.. which has surprisingly good surf!
Surfing and Argentine tango. Though I'm not particularly skilled in either. And certainly not when done together.
