I grew up on LI and went to SUNY Binghamton and majored in economics. I live and work in Manhattan and love to travel on sightseeing / more adventurous vacations in addition to the beachy ones my girlfriends enjoy. My goal is to never leave a vacation day unused. If I had heaps of time on my hands I would go to culinary school and take photography classes…hope to get to them sooner than later.
I live and work in Manhattan, graduated from an Ivy and speak several European languages. I love to travel, work out and enjoy everything Manhattan and surroundings have to offer. In my free time I enjoy going to the movies, concerts (mostly Rock), Broadway and comedy shows, museums and exhibitions, and try to broaden my horizons whenever I can. I like watching UFC fights, taking walks in the park, getting out of the city on weekends (beach, shopping, sightseeing) and go karting. I love what I do, but hours do get long and schedule is often hard to predict, hence I try to make the most out of the weekends. Someone with a 9 to 5 job will unlikely be a compatible match, as there will simply be a free time imbalance.
Life's a journey and I intend for it to be a good ride. I've changed careers 3x before finally settling on work I love. Whenever I can, I travel to exotic places to sightsee, hike and scuba. I have great parking karma and terrible flying karma. I'm addicted to "procedural" shows like House, Law & Order, CSI, period dramas like Mad Men and Boardwalk Empire and must admit sheepishly to having a penchant for really awful reality shows (can you say schadenfreude?). Not much of a sports fan other than an annual superbowl family fest, but love to be outdoors, especially with my camera, and practice yoga and play tennis regularly when I can. I am one of those women who buys cars based on color, cupholders, and power windows and couldn't care less about the actual engine. I hate people who walk across the whole sidewalk in NYC and then stop short, but I always help out a tourist in need. I love cooking and every kind of cuisine and would choose a great meal over a new outfit every day of the week. I see lots of movies, high brow and mass market, don't read a daily paper, but catch the headlines so I at least know what is going on and read tons of books. I don't want to ever stop learning and trying new things and strive to balance success in the hum drum of everyday life with more adventurous interludes. Looking for someone who shares some of my interests and wants to share some of theirs with me.
a nice surprice. It could be: beach walk, going out for dancing, hiking trip, sightseeing, concert ...anything we can enjoy together.Cup of coffee, glass of wine and chat is ok with me. Make an effort and write a message first.
Travel the world sightseeing, snowboarding and surfing.
It would just be doing what I love & enjoy in life. There is a very long list of that. :). A couple of examples would be hitting the beach, see a movie, or being out of town sightseeing in a city that's new to me.
Having boundless energy and just spending the day sightseeing parts of the city I've taken for granted.
Wake up late. Relax, have a great brunch, meeting good friends over a long dinner, solving the world's problems, laughing. Basking in the sun, sightseeing and going back to the hotel. Not necessarily in that order.
