My 1st concert that I was taken to of no accord of my own: the sad remains of those who called themselves The Beach Boys in the mid 80s. I was not impressed. My 1st concert I went to of my own volition was New Order/The Sugarcubes/Throwing Muses at the local theme park where you could hear people screaming from the rides over the singing. It still rocked and filled me with glee.
...About the time my roommate and I stalked a mouse that was running around our kitchen, caught it in a trash can and released it in Union Square Park.
Student athlete grows up to enjoy the city life...active playing tennis, golf, volleyball, softball, running, kayaking, horseback riding, etc but enjoy nights in the city at art museums, wine tastings, exploring new restuarants, outdoor movies under the stars, Philharmonic concerts in Central Park, etc...and travel anytime I can! Work'n hard, Play'n hard!
I started out as a professional journalist at the age of 15 and have been slowly working my way back down the ladder ever since. I now write for two online publications and pretend people still remember how to read. This summer or fall, I'm going to direct a feature film (one I wrote) in New Orleans about poker games, drunk ten-year-olds and amusement park rampages.
Arcade Fire at Summer Stage in Central Park with surprise guest David Bowie. Hands down the best concert I have ever attended
A New Yorker with a passion for music, eating, design and anything funny. I write a humor blog, and just recently started my own line of foodie inspired greeting cards. A few of my favorite things: my nieces and nephews, mix tapes, Spotify, my iphone, Coney Island, bulldogs, good puns, bad puns, my job, karaoke, Cut Copy, Levain cookies, live jazz, Central Park.
All animals, especially dogs. I perv dog parks and cats in windows
