How about we… head to Pravda on a Sunday night for an old Russian movie, and sip on a Leninade.
How about we… go see a favorite old movie at Museum of the Moving Image in Queens.
How about we… Go see an old school horror movie at GOMA. Gojira, Dracula or Attack of the 50 foot Woman?
How about we… Something old but never gets old, go watch a movie, enjoy popcorn, enjoy each others company.
How about we… do an old fashioned dinner-and-a-movie. Possibly "The Great Gatsby"?
How about we… Since I'm old fashioned, I would take my lady out to dinner & then a movie.

I've seen certain old movies many times, such as "Rebecca", "The 39 Steps", and "Now, Voyager".
Well on rainy days I like watching an old movie with some popcorn with that special someone . And I prefer to watch movies or attend the theater rather than read novels
obscure, no. niche knowledge, perhaps. love old movies, music, and books.
If I could be any building in the city (I'm a native New Yorker), I'd choose the Chrysler- who doesn't love Art Deco- or maybe my favorite brownstone off Lexington Avenue. I've been passionate about architecture and fine art since childhood- I grew up spending a lot of my weekends at the Met with a sketchbook. Since college I've worked in the art world, first at Christie's and now at a gallery. I’d say I’m a bit old fashioned- I definitely prefer phone calls to emails and old movies to blockbusters (especially Hitchcock). I'm really looking forward to fall and taking drives to see the foliage.
I AM NOT INTERESTED IN ROMANTIC DATING. ONLY SEEKING PLATONIC. LET's MAKE ART TOGETHER Sentence #1: I was born. I can't remember much of that period, I was pretty useless like most babies. And to this day I am still fascinated by boobs! Sentence #2: my parents were way too serious, so was the entire environment, so I was never a kid, really, I had to seriously become an adult trapped in a boy's body. Not much fun. Sentence #3: good grades at school and yet I was bored, I wanted more of a challenge, more from life, more from everything, I could not wait to grow up. Sentence #4: first job . . yadda yadda yadda . . . turn 40: where did my life go? Sentence #5: Life: what a great invention! I embark daily in this exploration, wide awake, and with my eyes open. I am a kid in the biggest and most fun playground there is, I love what I do for a living, it's a lot of work, but it's not a job. I am social, and I enjoy social activities with interesting people, unfortunately there are very few interesting people, most of them are uninteresting, lazy, jaded and disenchanted. Just look at the profiles on this forum, most people barely clicked one or two of the pre-canned "Dateropolis", demonstrating that they are uninteresting, with no interest in changing their status quo. I guess you are in love with what you have. Good for you. My outlook in life is best described by a famous quote from an old movie: "Life is a banquet, and most poor suckers are starving to death!". I enjoy the discovery of creative, new and fun things, I am curious by nature, and I am feasting on this banquet. I'd like to find someone else to feast with, but I am not going to settle down, my standards are high. What about you?
Boomerang. It's an old movie that still makes me laugh. "From the hooter to the tooter."
All kinds! I'm pretty good at trivia. history, native americans, sciences, old movies, random stuff etc... ;o)
I have seen Meet Me in St. Louis more times than I can ever count. It was one of my favorites as a child and still is to this day. I'm a sucker for old movies.
