I was born and raised in NYC, so I've seen and done a lot around here. Suggestions below are, for the most part, activities I haven’t yet tried but would love to experience. Drop me a line if any of them are of interest to you. 1) Check out Sunday Night Film Club at The Crosby Hotel http://www.firmdale.com/index.php?page_id=31&sub_page_id=161©_page_id=588 2) Have a drink on the private rooftop garden at the Surrey Hotel http://www.luxist.com/2010/06/03/the-surrey-hotel-debuts-a-rooftop-english-garden/ 3) ride the new thrill rides (including Steeplechase) at Coney Island's Luna Park (http://www.lunaparknyc.com/) then grab beer and pizza at either (or both) of NYC's arguably best pizza restaurants - totonnos/L&B Spumoni Gardens) 4) Check out a spa castle (5 floors of Korean massages, saunas and pools) - http://nyspacastle.com/eng/main/main.php 5) Take a Zipcar and drive up to Walkway Over the Hudson (former railroad bridge spanning the Hudson that has been transformed into one of the longest pedestrian bridges with magnificent views of the Hudson River) http://www.walkway.org/ - could also be combined with drive up to Bard College (beautiful campus, concerts, etc) 6) Hasid Meets Hipster Meets Girdle Store – start off with a quick walk around the Lower East Side (Donut Plant, pickle store, girdle store of your choice) then over the Williamsburg Bridge to explore Williamsburg (Hasid and Hipster sides) 7) Behind the Scenes Tour of Yankee Stadium or Citi Field 8) Take a Zipcar and drive up to Hunter Mountain for their new Zipline adventure (http://www.huntermtn.com/huntermtn/summer-activities/zipline.aspx) 9) Take Metro-North to New Canaan to see Philip Johnson’s Glass House 10) Explore Old Westbury Gardens http://www.oldwestburygardens.org/ 11) Zipcar out to Atlantic City for the day 12) ping pong and drinks at www.spinyc.com 13) Walk the newly opened Section 2 of the Highline and then check out Beer Parc and Grimaldis in Limelight Marketplace 14) see Luis Gispert's Decepcion at Mary Boone Gallery http://www.maryboonegallery.com/ 15) Enjoy a cocktail at XVI rooftop lounge in midtown - www.xviny.com 16) Check out the Greenwich Village Country Club - a "caddyshack" inspired playground complete with indoor mini-golf course (on top of Bowlmor Union Square) 17) Check out the Ipad based cocktail ordering system at Gowanus, Brooklyn cocktail emporium Whiskey, Tango Foxtrot - wtf-brooklyn.com 18) grab a drink in the East Village (Death & Company, PDT or The Summit Bar)

When I went indoor skydiving, and my semester abroad in Europe.
The outdoors always compels me. Though trapped indoors for my art and many interests, I make it a point to get out and see the sights and sounds, always have and always will. My life is constantly changing and I looking for new feats every day, my life will never be fulfilled.
My first concert was when I was 14 seeing Rooney with Straylight Run and Ozma. It was before Rooney got big and was in a tiny club, so I got to meet the bands afterward and had an awkward but graze with Robert Carmine. My dream concert would be Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Weezer, Pearl Jam, Sleater Kinney, Sufjan Stevens and Bon Iver at an outdoor festival that provided free food and sunscreen or in an indoor venue where I don't have to worry about turning into a lobster. Cool thing is, the Foo Fighters and Weezer part already happened. Best concert ever!
Well not so much infatuations, but things I'm into...bikram yoga, running, soccer, live music, whiskey with amaretto, red wine, seriously dark chocolate, reading, indoor rock climbing, and skiing.
I like these things: web development, fencing, SCUBA, electrical engineering, snowboarding, rock climbing, woodworking, metalworking, physics, technology, and geocaching. I also like making things. Recent projects include: a periodic-table shaped display cabinet for collecting all the elements, robotic flowers that open and close based on your home's energy usage, turkey shaped coasters and trays for Thanksgiving, an indoor location-based ghost-hunting iPad puzzle game, a small metal flashlight, a sword-wielding robot, and assorted other consumer electronic-y things that I hope to do a Kickstarter for some day.
Fun I like going places and trying things. This year is the year to learn to scuba, ride a motor cycle, go to Key West, and shoot a gun. Last year's firsts: Zip lining, cruise, Middle East (the country not the bar), snow mobiling, and I finally went ice skating at the Frog Pond. I like to try new things all the time. Pretty much up for anything. Hopefully, you like some of these things too.
