Recently I started taking improv classes and watching live improv and sketch comedy. I love discovering what unfolds during these. Not only do I laugh a lot, I am pleasantly surprised at how it positively influences my life.
Transplant to Chicago (Noble Square) as of December -- looking to meet people and get to know the town! Michigan-born and -bred, I was in New York City the past five years and it's nice to be back in The Great Midwest. I work in television; the highlight of my week is my improv class at iO. I hit museums semi-regularly, don't know my way around sports so well, but they're fun to watch with people who do. If you like to see bands, sing karaoke, or go to Windy City Soul Club, I'm your man!
Mostly I would keep doing what I'm doing -- composing, performing, writing songs, working with other artists. I would pimp out a van for two, so I could travel with a special companion and see the world. More yoga and meditation. Cooking classes. Take improv classes. Start a foundation to support artists in living their purpose. Build a recording studio in Tahoe. Snowboard in Argentina for a summer.
Take improv classes for a living.
a better story teller - I'm thinking of taking an improv class.
Born in Chicago, I exercise frequently, love to cook, and take improv classes at Second City. I am a principal at an elementary school and really enjoy working with kids.
Born and raised on Long Island. Finished High School in FL. Lived and worked in NYC since Oct. 2000. Took an improv class and is now my biggest hobby.
Travel, spend time reading and learning new things. I'd also probably continue with the improv classes I'm currently taking and have fun doing that.
I’ve lived on both coasts but will always think the East Coast is the best coast (even though it doesn’t rhyme as well). I use the right and left side of my brain pretty equally: I’m a trained software developer/engineer but have also produced documentaries and short films. I’ve taken improv classes to become a better writer and travel to at least one new place a year. Though I’ve been to places like Germany I’d much rather visit a country in Asia or Africa. And I like most books from Malcolm Gladwell — I’m not much of a reader, but like his logical way of looking at things.
Birth is nothing to cry about, yeh babies. Of course I know my dolls aren't real...but they're right here sooo, apologize to them. If only this pager was as useful as it is cool*......I'll just drive to a pay phone...ohh no quarters...I'll just drive to Liz's house..."WHAT." I need some inspiration so I think I'll [move to NYC] [take improv classes] [write a run-on sentence and see where it goes...]. I'm interested in being interested. *pager was equal parts useless and uncool
