How about we… Go to the first day of Bumbershoot? I am going with friends to the second two days, but they keep adding some great groups to Saturday!
How about we… go see a performance of the Blue Man Group.
How about we… go see some kind of music group.
How about we… We get a group of friends together and go F1-Kart racing....
How about we… go see an amazing performance by the Blue Man Group.
How about we… grab a group of friends to head to Golden Gardens on a nice day for a bonfire & drum circle!
How about we… go to a Rapids game and sing akin with the supporters groups.
How about we… get a group of people and go out to a huge dinner!
How about we… Check out the D.I.A. (don't worry, that's the Detroit Institute of Arts, not some scary government group).

Born in L.A. but grew up in Boston. After a little time on the west coast after college I'm now in NY and loving it. Am a teacher of an amazing but high energy group of 8th graders.
the longest time I have ever lived anywhere is 4 years; I love Montreal and I love food; I am curious; I am fascinated by rebel groups and traveled to Sudan to do field research on them; I am happy to be in New York but miss swimming in lakes :)
Once in Istanbul, a shady museum security guard asked my friends and I if we would like to come in for a cup of apple tea. Cut to forty minutes later when he lead us down into an active Byzantine archeological dig site to show us the "mummies." He may have tried to grope all the ladies in my group, but we did get to see a unique view of the Aya Sophia and the Blue Mosque from a recently discovered Byzantine smuggling tunnel.
Bodrum, Turkey- after a 16hour bus ride from busy Istanbul it felt like paradise. Island hopping to the sleepy Greek islands nearby and finding one with green sand will forever be one of my favorite trips. We had next to no money, were an oddly matched group, couldn't read or speak the language...and we had such a great time.
in a girl group.
About the focus group with the super heroes...
My first concert was Weird Al Yankovic under a tent in the middle of the woods. I'm serious. My favorite concert ever was Blue Man Group, David Bowie, and Moby at the PNC. My dream concert would be some kind of Time Machine fueled Rubber Soul era Beatles show.
This will be much much more than 5 sentences... sorry. I'm funny, smart, motivated, and kind. I promise, if nothing else, we'll have some laughs. I'm an open book. I'm easy going and friendly. I am polite and kind, but I also don't sugar coat anything. I am aware of my strengths and shortcomings. I'm of the belief that those shortcomings are really what makes me who I am. It is a person's flaws that make them unique. I'm a "glass half full" person. I always look at the bright side. I'm just aware that the glass probably wouldn't be all that interesting if it were completely full. I'm very passionate about everything I do. If I eat a great meal, I EAT THE HECK out of that meal! I'm the same way with music, art, work, love... you name it. I'm definitely a creative type. I love to write. I studied English Lit in college and never put it to professional use. After college I toured the country in a van and sang cover songs to college kids. I always wanted to be a rockstar, and part of me still does. In 2012, I have already begun to try to get gigs and play some live music. My first gig in many years is on May 19th! I'm a good guy. I follow my heart before my head, which sometimes gets me into trouble, but in retrospect, I like it that way I'm a geek of all trades. I love and immerse myself in things such as technology, music, movies, and books. I'll probably beat you at Jeopardy, but despite my large vocabulary, you'll probably beat me at Scrabble. I like to stay active but don't love the gym. I'd rather be playing basketball, riding a bicycle around Manhattan & Brooklyn, playing paintball (the best exercise, by the way) or some other physical activity that involves more than just me. I don't watch too much television, but I DO love my Sunday night cable shows. From Mad Men & Breaking Bad to True Blood & Game of Thrones to Californication & Dexter, Sunday nights are my stay home and veg nights. I like to drink socially. You'll never find me at home alone with a drink, but I sure do enjoy getting silly with my friends on occasion. I've got a great and varied group of people in my life and value each and every one of them. I'm by no means a foodie, but I DO love to have a great meal. I'm on an ongoing quest to find the best fresh yellowtail sashimi in NYC. Any tips? I prefer bars and cocktail lounges to clubs. Although I'm beginning to get back into electronica, the club scene just seems so cheesy to me. I'd rather be drinking prohibition style cocktails at Death & Co. or playing pool, darts & pingpong at Fat Cat over some beers than glamming it up at Cielo. I believe that children are the future. Teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they posess inside. Give them a sense of pride to make it easier. Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be.
I was born in NYC, but grew up in NNJ to be a Jersey Girl. I am a MSW and LOVE my work with kids and families. I love to try new things, food and activities- but nothing too athletic, cuz I'm pretty spazzy. I have a great group of friends but am looking for a guy to add to my life to add to the good stuff already going on.
I know designers and can pick out their clothes from a group.
