I went to school at Barnard and after I graduated I worked for a big fancy gallery for six years before quitting to go out on my own, write for magazines and work for a curator. If I could be any building in the city (I'm a native New Yorker), I'd choose the Chrysler- who doesn't love Art Deco- or maybe my favorite brownstone off Lexington Avenue. I've been passionate about architecture and fine art since childhood- I grew up spending a lot of my weekends at the Met with a sketchbook. Since college I've worked in the art world, first at Christie's and now at a gallery.
