The short version: Tea. (In the interest of time, feel free to skip forward) The long version: Classical music, lots of other music, European art (especially Italian Renaissance), Japanese culture, cognitive psychology, education & pedagogy, theatre, opera, world travel, NYC, London, Italy, my 3 guitars, sailing, cross-country skiing (dowhnill less so), Ballroom dancing (competitive & social), long-distance cycling (no longer), teaching all sorts of people how computers work, technology, business, strategy, investing, choral & a cappella singing, or singing in various languages I don't know, jamming with people, home-made mojitos, dirty martinis, Campari, cognac, various cheeses, English afternoon tea, the Japanese tea ceremony, and just tea in general. (I offered to skip forward, now didn't I?) These have been my loves over time, with various degrees of attention given to each. However, I am much more single-minded when it comes to female companionship!
Believe it or not... Madonna (a friend had a free ticket... and it ended up being a great show)... but I tell people it was The Grateful Dead, my second concert... I was a hippie back in college and a hippie going to a Madonna concert is unheard of...
grew up in Miami, did college in Boston, grad school Indiana, now NYC working in capital markets...my family, friends and of course health are most important to me - in my free time I like to read, go out, and exercise among other things...
Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, but if I had the free time now that I had then, it'd probably be Superbad or Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny.
i am passionate about enjoying new york; i subscribe to 5 daily emails of free new york city events; favorites are danspace project at st marks; the vision festival; lincoln center out of doors; the fringe festival; messiah sing-a-long at lincoln center; riding over the gw bridge and then looping under and up on the jersey side; williamsburg softball pick up games on wednesday nights; long beach jumping waves, flying my kite and playing volleyball; the stuffed derma at katz's (but not too often because its a fat bomb); the 3 fotos are taken in 2006, 2007, and 2008 respectively; i am in the mideast twice per year on business (saudi arabia, dubai, bahrain)
Milli Vanilli, Tone Loc and Young MC ... feel free to laugh out loud.
Wagner Free Institute in Philadelphia
I've lived all over the world: Russian (born there), DC, Boston, Madrid and Stockholm, but I consider the Big Apple my home. I've worked for big companies, small companies and recently started my own venture. I love art and throw pots when I have free time. I have lots of friends...just not that special one :)
Born and raised in Boston, a stop over for a few years in FLA, now living in NYC for 19 years! Have loved and been loved but all that is lost. I am free. I'll tell you the rest in person
First REAL concert was Rush, when I was 16. That's not counting Pearl Jam a year earlier at a free outdoor festival thing, right before they got big. Eddie swung from the rigging above the stage, it totally rocked my world dude. DREAM concert would be something like John Zorn and Phillip Glass together at a small club.......*swoon*.
