How about we… Go geocaching, right now it is the perfect time of year, no bugs and a lot less foliage.
How about we… take a drive to see the fall foliage for the day, and stop in some road side BBQ place?
How about we… check out some wineries and look at the fall foliage (if there are still leaves on the trees)!
How about we… go for a walk, enjoy the foliage and drink hot toddies.

If I could be any building in the city (I'm a native New Yorker), I'd choose the Chrysler- who doesn't love Art Deco- or maybe my favorite brownstone off Lexington Avenue. I've been passionate about architecture and fine art since childhood- I grew up spending a lot of my weekends at the Met with a sketchbook. Since college I've worked in the art world, first at Christie's and now at a gallery. I’d say I’m a bit old fashioned- I definitely prefer phone calls to emails and old movies to blockbusters (especially Hitchcock). I'm really looking forward to fall and taking drives to see the foliage.
New England during foliage season.
Born and raised in Ohio (small town), then college in Chicago (big city). Then two years in upstate New York to teach high school english (pretty foliage), and now I've lived in SF for the last five years.
Several lighthouses in a lifetime that I climbed. The fall foliage of all New England states because it's my fav season.
a rowboat on the lake, an island in that lake, and smores on that island! (oh! And fall foliage, too!)
Photos of the various places I have lived or visited - snowfall in Alaska, autumn foliage in Massachusetts, farmland in Michigan
The Inca Trail for 4 days and Macchu Picchu! Cuzco and sorroundings. Foliage the Berkshires, MOCA museum on North Adams and the Mohawk trail. All Europe, Mexico, ACK, All N'tl Parks most recently hiked the Grand Canyon from rim to rim! and planning a trip to the Galapagos and India on separate dates- so yes I love traveling, adventure and experiencing new cultures, worlds and way of living
recently, was Shenandoah National Park to enjoy the fall foliage and crisp fresh air.
I lived on the East Coast for a coupler years from Boston, Mass to Portland, Maine this time of the year the snow and foliage is always awesome to the visual senses.
I lived in the Berkshires for a year and a half and loved the serenity I found there. It's beautiful in the fall when the foliage changes. There's plenty of hiking, nature, and Americana to enjoy and explore, too!
