It is 2010, I thought I better start with the hopes that I have for the year ahead. I thought I had found "Mr. Right", but things did not work out. So, I am still searching.. I am just hopeing that special someone comes along. I know he exists, but where the heck is he? I am interested in finding a man that is real and lives a life of integrity. Life is too short (and crazy) to waste time with games. I want to meet someone that makes me feel safe and comfortable. I want to be myself, and to know the REAL him. I want to meet someone that enjoys holding hands, kissing, and saying what he is feeling. Words that have been used to describe me by friends and family: petite, fiesty, great sense of humor, quick witted, a little sarcastic, dependable, loyal, loving, gracious, ambitious, independent, strong, resillient, self-aware, sensitive to others needs, nice, cool, easy to get along with... In all of these places I have found great things to enjoy from art/musems, festivals, farmers markets, zoos, hiking, rafting, skiing, camping, biking, people watching, dining...if I left something out I would be willing to try it! I am always up for an aventure, spur of the moment trip or planned vacation/long weekend. I also know how to spend nice quieter time at home having a great meal and a movie, anything romantic, chilling out side by side just having quiet time is fine too.
Born in the Midwest, grew up in Florida, but a New Yorker at heart:) Moved to Brooklyn last month (after 5 years in Manhattan) and loving it. I value sense of humor, creativity and good conversation. Love exploring the city....restaurants, bars, films, parks, galleries, coffee shops, farmers markets etc.
Recently, glazed donuts from Bob's Coffee & Doughnuts at Farmers Market. Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm craving one.
The beach, bourbon, sleeping under down comforters, cheese, bonfires, phase 10, pumas, farmers' markets, and/or road trips.
Fresh produce...farmers markets!
came to new york by way of st. louis -- great city, i really miss the chilled out midwestern vibe. now i work too much at an awesome start-up -- we building technology-driven social movements (you can ask me what the heck that means later); but it's okay because i love the people i work with. i have a new-found obsession with west african dance. i love to cook veggie dishes (lots of bean soups); wander through prospect park and feel like i'm not in a city; buy more than i can eat at the farmers market; ride my bike somewhere random.
Which vendors are at the Union Square Farmers Market M | W | F | S It's more obscure than you'd think it is.
I'm an absolute film fanatic. I spend more time watching movies than you might think possible. I'm also a foodie obsessed with farmers' markets.
Rome, Madrid, Cliffs of Moor(Ireland), The Great Wall of China, Farmers Market in Nice, Monaco, The Eiffel Tower and South Korea
Born in PA, grew up in upstate NY, no TV until the 5th grade, ran around in the woods for fun. Went to college, ended up working in archaeology, in the woods, for fun, and work. Moved to LA and was there for three years, beach volleyball, perfect weather, farmers markets, endless coastline, roads that strangled commutes. In Boston now, family, excited to watch and play a little hockey, minuscule apartment, pedestrian utopia, fashionably unfashionable people, streets that feel alive, that's four I think, don't want to test this five sentence rule.
