At the end of a first date I never ever go back to a private residence with the person I'm meeting. When the date's over we go home to our respective residences. This should be obvious, but a lot of people seem to think that's cool nowadays. Well, it isn't. Not for me, at least. So don't even ask.
First concert Bush when I was in the 8th grade thought it was so cool cause I had backstage passes!! Still would love to see Coldplay live
a really cool purple and white rock I got in Moab, Utah
a rock star because rock stars get to wear the most ridiculous clothes but still look cool. I once saw a music video wherein the singer was wearing silver leather pants. Only a rock star could pull that off.
I am originally from the Midwest. I've traveled to some cool places in the world before I saw parts of the Unites States when I was younger. My parents have been a huge influence on my artistic lifestyle. They were into the visual arts, but I love the performing arts. Funny thing about how plans work out, I now doing a lot more producing than theatre. I also enjoy teaching and trying new things that have absolutely nothing to do with art to balance my creative work.
When I'm watching TV or a movie set in NYC, I get I get excited when I can name the intersection in that scene. It makes me feel cool.
Lots of cool NYC history... actually not that much, but a few gems for sure.
First concert: Duran Duran on the Seven and the Ragged Tiger tour. I was eleven and had a very cool sister. Our seats were at the highest point of Cobo Arena. I think I got altitude sickness. Dream concert: Miles Davis, Jimi Hendrix, Prince and my best friend Keith playing Joe's Pub.
First concert: Pink Floyd - 1989 (I was 8 years old my parents are really cool!!)
My first concert was Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes- I was a very young child & my parents thought it was cool to bring me to a concert. I'm sure it looked odd to others.
