a line cook in a fancy restaurant. I'm as efficient as I am artistic. And food... ooh, don't get me started....
I grew up in Indiana and moved to Nashville when I was 18. In college I studied Music Business. After college I worked in Artist Management for 5 years. I lived in New York City for 3 years. I have one younger brother who lives in Colorado.
I am originally from the Midwest. I've traveled to some cool places in the world before I saw parts of the Unites States when I was younger. My parents have been a huge influence on my artistic lifestyle. They were into the visual arts, but I love the performing arts. Funny thing about how plans work out, I now doing a lot more producing than theatre. I also enjoy teaching and trying new things that have absolutely nothing to do with art to balance my creative work.
Approximately first was Green Day's Pop Disaster Tour. Much more recently, I saw Michael Kiwanuka and it was amazing to hear such a raw, old school sound live and in person. I know I'm meant to be listing musical artists to give you a sense of my taste, but my current dream concert resembles this scene in the movie Corrina, Corrina where Jevetta Steele is singing and everyone is sitting, completely lost in the music: http://youtu.be/L26Sct1NQag?t=4m10s . I want that feeling of entrancement and intimacy, plus some dancing.
Simon and Garfunkel in Central Park -- amazing. Dream concert would be small venue with any of a 1/2 dozen artists from folk to funk and lots of genres in between (I have trouble with these "whatever you can dream up" questions -- I've got a good imagination!).
A really talented visual artist. Drawings, paintings, maybe huge, phallic, angry sculpture.
I grew up in a very close five person family. We traveled the east coast of America and a little bit of Germany. I thrive on strong relationships and artistic expression. I will never stop traveling or exploring.
