I'm an only child by birth, but my parents are great people and have lots of "adopted" family. I have more cousins than I can count. Hmm... I'm pretty open as far as conversation goes and I try to avoid politics and such on a first date, but it wouldn't bother me at all if we discussed heavy topics. I actually prefer deeper conversation verses small talk. But bad manners/rudeness to anyone on a first date is a turn-off, majorly.
