Everyone on our team believes in this overarching vision - that the internet should make real life better. We are a team of about 20 people. About half of us work on the product as engineers or designers and half on marketing and editorial.
Our engineering team is small, smart, and fast. We value and support: agility, pair-coding, analytics-driven UX design, constant deployment, test-driven development, and tight feedback loops. All of our engineers are actively involved in the product design workflow. We use pivotal tracker to support our agile development process. Our feature backlog includes recommendation algorithm implementation, API development, native mobile development, a variety of scaling challenges, and gamification. Technologies: Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, SASS, HAML, Compass, etc.
Our design team is focused on merging pixel-perfect high design with supreme usability. We are metrics-driven, highly iterative, and user-focused. We are aiming to build the most elegant social networking experience ever.
