I think I’m all aboard for abolishing these words from our online dating vernaculars:

1. Moist.

2. YOLO (“You Only Live Once”).

3. Hoodrat/Thug.

4. Fantabulous.

5. Seductive.

6. Luv/Werd.

7. Horny.

8. Expl*t!ve$.

9. Depressed.

10. Picky.

I would also add the word “Nickelback” (in any complimentary form) and anything misspelled or in ALL CAPS.

Are any of these words on your profile? I was pretty sure it was a universal understanding that nobody should ever use the word “moist”, but my question is: why is the M word on your profile, anyway? Hold that thought — I don’t want to know.
