Oddly, this is maybe the best effort I’ve seen toward answering the question, What is love? Eight contestants, ranging in age from 10-76, were asked get in to an fMRI machine and “love someone as hard as they can.” The one who displays the most activity in the area of their brain associated with love “wins.” It’s worth watching all the way through. The results are super interesting.
