After decades of movies and television shows selling cartoon versions college sex to back to college students, one new MTV show is banking on students being more interested in the truth. Tell-it-like-it-is sex advice columnist Dan Savage is taking his unconventional wisdom to the small screen and the results, quite frankly, give us cheering-crowd-at-the-end-of-an-80′s-high-school-sports-movie type chills. Check it out:

There’s something about young folks being empowered to speak the truth about their sex lives and knowing that they’re going to be heard by such a wide audience that’s so exciting. We know it’s just a TV show, but if it helps to make the world a slightly less daunting, confusing, shame-filled place for the next generation of singles, we’d consider that a huge win.
