Budget-conscious daters in New York City rejoice (and save the date): Brooklyn’s Prospect Park will “transform into an amusement park of food and drink” on May 19 and 20 to host The Great GoogaMooga, a FREE music and culinary festival produced by Superfly Presents (the people behind Bonnaroo.) The festival will attract a reported 75 food vendors, 35 brewers, and 30 winemakers (most of them local), in addition to a yet-to-be announced lineup of approximately 20 musical acts representing a variety of genres. You can read more about the festival here, and don’t forget to register for tickets (there is also a VIP “Extra Mooga” option available for $249.50) here. Reservations open March 15 at noon, and each attendee can bring three friends (double date, perhaps?).

Can you say “How about we … sample some delicious food and drink, catch some live music, frolic around Prospect Park, and try not to abuse the word ‘GoogaMooga’ too many times throughout the day?”
