It’s totally normal for a girl to picture herself dating/marrying/making out with/”insert verb here-ing with” her celebrity crush, but not so much normal when she thinks it’s actually gonna happen. It’s cool. We’ve all been there.  But are we really so far off in thinking that the rich and famous dudes really are pretty much perfect? Nope. See why these 8 famous boyfriends are so great to their girls, and why we wish all men in the world were as romantic as they are.

1. Liam Hemsworth

Nearest and dearest to Miley Cyrus are her five pups, and Liam is the best doggy daddy ever. He walks them, plays with them, and buys them things as if the pups were his. He knows what’s important — family, puppies, hobbies — maybe not in that order.

2. Justin Bieber

The Biebs is perhaps the most romantic stud in Hollywood right not, having rented out the Staples Center one night so he and Selena Gomez could watch Titanic. We’re not saying all guys should go this all out, per say, but many of us (girls, too!) could stand upping the romance factor. It was also very thoughtful — a game at the Staples Center, followed by a homemade meal and Titanic? That’s totally not asking for too much, is it?

3.  Robert Pattinson

After news of Kristen Stewart cheating on Rob broke last week, Rob did what any strong man should do – he reportedly moved out of the home they shared together. Some people would stay with their S.O. and forgive them, but we wish all guys were like Rob and were that strong and confident. It would make us ladies a lot more sane.

4. Ryan Reynolds

We basically wish every guy was like Ryan in every way ever, but we especially like how hush hush he is about his relationship with Blake Lively to the press. They’ve never confirmed their couple status, and we think real-life guys should learn to keep their mouths shut, too, mostly when it comes to telling their guy friends about last night’s H-O-T romp session. PLEASE keep that kinda stuff as hush hush as Mr. Reynolds.

5. Jay-Z

All guys should be at LEAST as talented as Jay! (Kidding. Obviously.) But they should know how to serenade their ladies every once in a while. Jay’s written dozens of songs about his wife Beyonce, and even wrote a song, “Glory,” for his daughter Blue Ivy when she was born in January. Grab those guitars, guys…

6.  Liam Payne

The teen from One Direction definitely knows how to treat a lady. He reportedly bought his girlfriend, Eleanor Calder, a sports car for her birthday, in addition to getting Rihanna (yes, that Rihanna) to record a personalized birthday message for her.  Expensive gifts are nice, sure, but sometimes all we want is a homemade gift with a lot of thought put into it. Totally doable.

7.  Justin Timberlake

Justin and Jessica Biel broke up once briefly during their four-year courtship, but JT knows a good thing when he has one – shortly after the couple rekindled, he put a ring on it in December 2011. The takeaway: if you end up with a girl who’s way out of your league and brings out the best of you in every single way, hold onto her. Don’t cheat. Maybe propose. It’s that simple.

8. Andrew Garfield

Um, mostly Emma Stone is lucky because Andrew’s British, talented, hot, and uber romantic. We’d be totally cool of all guys wanted to clone themselves into Andrew from this day forward.
