I’ve got good news, bad news, good news and some other news regarding your Friday Night. The good news? Two of the most innovative dance bands currently making booties shake are playing in your city. Gang Gang Dance and Hot Chip will be tearing the roof off TERMINAL 5 beginning at 8pm. The bad news? The show’s sold out. The good news? Some of the boys from Hot Chip are doing a special DJ set at Webster Hall after the show.

The other news? If you’re looking for a more hipster-free dance experience, Shokazoba will be doing their high-energy afrobeat thang at ZEBULON in Brooklyn. This is the kind of show you can straight up rock some contact improv at and no one will bat an eye.
