Rejection slows your heart-rate! Getting over a breakup is physiologically similar to getting over cocaine addiction! When we get dumped we instinctively think that we are going to DIE, because in ancient times we probably would have!
Geee-eeeez! Just when I start to think that scientific relationship studies are a total waste of time, one comes along that not only knocks my socks off, but it makes me feel better.
