Married Couples Aren’t Better Than Co-Habitators, Says Science

I love it when grandmas are wrong! Turns out “living in sin” isn’t as bad as previously thought, if you listen to science. (Some grandmas don’t.)
A study in the Journal of Marriage and Family, found that married people don’t have any long term advantages over co-habitating couples in terms of their happiness, healthy, and social life. But who cares about that stuff anyway, right?
My friends always joke that they’re just going to get married for the gifts, but think about how much money you have to spend to get the gifts! And I have heard stories of brides getting arthritis from writing all those Thank You notes.
