One of the best comments we’ve seen recently on this blog was posted by reader William Teaux, re: “What to Order at the Bar to Impress Your Date.” He writes:

“A few years ago, while flirting with this girl I worked with, I suggested that we go get a drink some time. When I asked her what she drank, she said ‘Guinness.’ I said, ‘I will marry you tomorrow.’ We went out a few nights later and a couple of years later, I made good on my word.”
