Last night’s DateCam did not get off to a seamless start. Blind daters Bianca and James actually ran into each other outside the bar, awkwardly approached each other, walked in together, downed two “liquid courage” shots of Jameson, and then basically sat frozen in front of the camera for the first 20 minutes or so of the date while the collective audience (both at our viewing party at Destination Bar and at home) cringed in awkwardness.

And then, the alcohol kicked in. Four drinks, three different seating arrangements, and one note from the audience later, the DateCam ended on a make-out session. And when the cameras stopped rolling, things really started to heat up between this couple. (Holding hands, arms around each other, leaving together, etc.)

Just goes to show you: you can’t judge a date by the first 5 minutes. Or 30.
