August might as well have been music month at HowAboutWe: we talked about what your taste in music says about you on a date, we discussed how music can be a stumbling block in terms of date conversation, and then we discussed about what ELSE your taste in music says about you on a date.

So apparently, music plays a bigger part in dating than one might initially think.

Here’s what we’re wondering: is music a dealbreaker for you? If someone has completely awful taste in music (or, you could argue, no taste at all), can you get past it and focus on your other shared interests? Or do you feel like music is too important to you to pair up with someone who doesn’t enjoy it like you do?
