A clever beauty company is selling a “Walk Of Shame” kit for an insane $114. I don’t know about you guys, but for that price, I’d rather walk home in the bedsheets if it came to that.

This kit comes with face towelettes (to remove last night’s makeup), “deoderette” (pretentious deodorant?), face cream, Oscar Blandi dry shampoo, and “Rosewater Freshening Clothes.”
These are all terribly nice products, of course, but for those of us who don’t treat the morning after like a spa day, it’s easy to recreate for a lot less money at the local drugstore.
For instance, my walk-of-shame kit would probably include the following items:

Cleansing Towelettes to wash your face. $2.99

Dry Shampoo, $7.99

Travel-sized deodorant, $.99

Benefit’s Boi-ing industrial strength concealer. $18.00 (The big splurge, but worth every penny in making you look awake.)

Travel toothbrush (reusable!), $1.99

Your own. Don’t leave for a night out without these puppies in the bottom of your bag.
Of course, there are other morning-after tricks that can help you through a rough spot: stopping at the gym for a shower, stopping at The Gap to pick up a more day-appropriate item, etc. etc.
Do you have any morning-after essentials that have gotten you through some awkward times? Let us know in the comments!
